1. Gather a medium sized bowl and fill a little more than half with lukewarm water. Add a little bubble bath, perfume and the oil that best suits your skin type. Stir the water gently and make sure the additives mix thoroughly.

2. Soak your feet in the bowl for 10-15 minutes, depending on the degree of hotness of the water and the nature of the additives in the water. If using almond, milk or any luxurious foot spa product, soak for about 15 minutes to get the softer feel.

3. After soaking, dry your feet gently using a clean, soft towel. Trim the toenails to the desired length and clean the dirt between them thoroughly. You can also push the cuticles slightly as they become soft after interaction with the warm water.

4. The next step is to massage the feet using a rich cream or an exfoliate. If the feet do not feel soft on the bottom or the sides, use a handheld foot rubber with a rough end to remove the excess dead skin. While massaging the feet, look out for any unwanted growth or infection and consult a dermatologist accordingly.

5. Rinse your feet with the water remaining in the bowl and clean off the exfoliate using a clean dry towel. Make sure you don’t make rough movements as it could tear off the tender skin.

6. Apply your favorite moisturizer or lotion on each foot thoroughly. This will hydrate your feet and all traces of dryness will subside, leaving your feet sweet smelling and soft.
